You can’t enjoy the red without the green, right??

So if you’re looking for a way to be eco-conscious this season, we’re here to help out. Here areĀ the first two suggestions in our three-part series for becoming a littleĀ greener during the holidays.

1. Wrap all your gifts with eco-friendly 100% recycled paper!

Or try out these other great wrapping paper alternatives:

  • Reusable tins or baskets
  • Old maps, sheet music, or colorful ads from magazines
  • Scarves and handkerchiefs
  • Lightweight wallpaper
  • Decorate a fabric totebag
  • Newspapers and Sunday comic pages
  • Last year’s holiday paper (use a warm iron if wrinkled)
  • Pictures or advertisements from magazines and catalogs
  • A useable cake pan or a wooden box.

2. Buy eco-friendly gifts for your friends
