So I don’t know if you’ve been keeping up with the latest in toy industry news, but Mattel recently tried to sue MGA Entertainment, the company responsible for the popular Bratz dolls. Mattel is alleging that the designer who created the Bratz line originally conceived of the ideas while working at Mattel, thereby making the concept property of Mattel.
So this of course begs the question:
Which is better, the original 36-18-33 5-foot 9-inch Barbie, or the provactively dressed, pouty-lipped Bratz dolls? Hmm…

Mattel did win the lawsuit and MGA has to give up $100 Million. This case is not finished yet.
