I shop for everything online. Books, shoes, clothes, CDs, makeup, even food sometimes. But there’s one thing that I absolutely CANNOT buy online — jeans.

Jeans are just one of those things you have to try on, and for me, it’s a grueling process. I’ll spend several hours trying myriad pairs of jeans, usually only to purchase one (if at all). Anyhow, today I found out help is on the way!

Shopbop.com has created their own denim guide video, called Denim 101! It’s hosted by Shopbop style director Morgan Wendelborn and basically breaks denim into its basic elements, so you can learn how pocket placement, rise, and other elements factor into your perfect jean!
