This weekend marks the official beginning of summer, but it’s also the beginning of another sort of phenomenon, the opening of the Sex and City 2 movie.  And while everyone is buzzing about what Carrie and Co are wearing ( I must admit I’ve had my eye on that Halston Heritage white dress SJP sports in the promos), I’m salivating over the beauty looks. I mean, how amazing is SJP? She looks glam, gorgeous, and her hair–with its loose, sensuous waves–is to die for. Stylist Frank Barbosa achieved the look with a big barrel curling iron and  and sprayed on products from Rene Furterer (one of my faves).  Here are two he used to transform Carrie’s hair into carefree, tousled waves, surely the look we’ll all be sporting this summer:

 Rene Furterer Spray Gloss is what Barbosa primed freshly dried hair with before he used the curling iron. The B5 vitamin formula smoothes and seals the cuticle, so hair looks oh-so-shiny and sleek.  

He then combed through the waves with his fingers, and spritzed a bit of Rene Furterer Fioravanti No-Rinse Detangling Spray  on them. The vitamin C rich formula conditions,  making hair look and feel naturally soft with a light, flexible hold.
