I’ve been a Dyson fan ever since I’ve had my dog, which has been for quite some time now. I’m especially thankful in the summer, when my dog decides to leave little dogs in every corner of every room; my Dyson sucks up that fur like I suck down Freeze-Pops.
So, of course, I was extremely interested in the Dyson Air Multiplier Table Fan. If Dyson can suck in, it can surely blow out, right? Well, sort of. This machine actually does both, drawing in air at the base, but also blowing it out to create an air stream. That’s not even the coolest part (no pun intended) when it comes to this fan.
Just look at it.
Unlike your old, dusty, oscillating dinosaur, this fan has no blades. In other words, you can skip the worries about sticking your fingertips in there, if that’s actually a worry. However, it also means that the fan is a lot quieter than what most of us are used to. Imagine being able to sit with your thoughts and get fresh air on a hot day? If that’s not enough to satisfy, it will surely make for a nice piece of desk art at the office.
Two 10-inch models are available for $299.99 each. One is blue and iron, with the other silver and white. There’s also a massive 12-inch model in silver and iron, for $329.99.
