Summer calls for cool hues and a bit of splash. I’ve fallen in love with this collection of summery turquoise pottery by Le Souk Ceramics. The Sabrine series incorporates playful designs that are a blend of Spanish and Moorish art. The hue is as comfortable against a crisp white tablecloth as it is on a wood patio tabletop.

Le Souk Ceramique strives to keep alive a little piece of the old world by creating ceramics of handmade beauty and distinction. In Arabic, “souk” is the name for the village marketplace where traditional arts and crafts are bought and sold. Le Souk designs its collections in Washington State and then calls on skillful artisans in the Tunisia, North Africa, studio to sculpt each masterpiece.
Get the whole collection or just use some plates, a pitcher or large serving platter to add a bit of ocean inspiration to your basic white china. Gorgeous!
Don’t these aqua-hued salt and pepper mills also coordinate perfectly? The lock-and-grind grinding system offers a variety of grinds from course to very fine!
