It seems like simply washing your face should be enough, doesn’t it? After all, washing usually… well… gets things clean. But invariably, when I follow my (necessarily gentle) facewash with toner, I see plenty of make-up left behind: residue from foundation , traces of blush and bronzer, streaks of eyeshadow and eyeliner.
