How about things you can do at the office? I'm always amazed by the amount of paper wasted. I try to print on both sides of paper whenever possible. And I bring my own coffee cup to keep away from the styrofoam. Other ideas? Green living doesn't stop at home...

Fatchex is refreshingly new and well orgnaized website for online shoppers who would like to get save much more by shopping online. This website provides almost all the online and instore coupons along with a fairly competetive cashback option. As a promotional offer they are giving full cashback(what ever they get paid in commissions minus 1% for operating expenses) and they are going to continue this for next 3-6 months. Cashback percentages for some of the marchants are not available anywhere on the internet. Though these maximum cashback percentages are promotional offer, site founders are confident to provide much competetive cash back even after the promotional period ends. Also they would like to offer full cashback for different occations through out the year.

Some of these look like they were written from Boulder (the arm pit of Colorado); spoken from a native. I'm sorry but what gross human being is only going to do laundry once a month? Also, who has time to grow their own food? That's why we have farmers and they need to stay in business. When the price of hybrids come down I'll consider trading in my Hummer for one !!! My biggest gripe of all is being forced to pay to recycle. I throw away a ton of stuff every week because I won't pay. Perhaps going "green" shouldn't cost extra & more people would do it.
I to0 would like a "greener" planet but I also have a mortgage to pay etc..--oh yes & my Hummer's gas .

Thanks so much Debbie for these great green ideas -- you're right, it's really not that difficult to help make the planet more environmentally friendly.

These are all great ideas, but WE have to follow them & try to be positive role models to teach other people the importance of conserving our resources. Maybe if we write articles for our local papers re: local fresh grown food co-ops, the best time to water plants, the best time of the day to do laundry, safe bicycle routes, etc. we would have more informed communities. Maybe the people would start to pull together. Charity begins at home.
Also, anyone who owns more than one share of any stock, has probably seen the massive books that they send out about their companies on a quarterly, or a yearly basis. If you own more than 100 shares (or some sort of #) they send you 2 books & so on , & so on. You can call the company & ask them to stop sending you their earning reports, that you can read them online & that you'd rather keep some trees for shade! I could go on & on, but I will end with this last HUGE IDEA: when you're walking your dog, when you pick up after your dog it never hurts, to pick other items laying around & disposing and/or recycling them. THIS WOULDN'T BE NECESSARY IF PEOPLE WOULD STOP THROWING THINGS OUT OF CAR WINDOWS, OR DROPPING THINGS WHEN THEY ARE WALKING> ALWAYS KEEP A BAG W/ YOU & ONE IN THE CAR . You can always find a fast food place, or a park, or a rest areas that has garbage cans. May God bless us and our children, who have to inherit our mess.
